doug bowles 0 Posted February 25, 2002 How can you tell the dog is yellow? A "homey" kind of picture - could have been plucked from the '40s. Link to comment
shooter 0 Posted February 25, 2002 I would like it more if the sky was burned in a little and the dog was facing the camera more and located on the left hand track. Link to comment
james_knowles2 0 Posted February 26, 2002 Nice shot, good composition, definitely enhanced in B&W. The dog makes the difference. Is the tinge of magenta in the upper right a mistake, or an "effect"? Not sure why but I like the slightly off-sharp presentation. Link to comment
ryan_sholin 0 Posted February 26, 2002 I like the composition - i assume the magenta is a scanner idiosyncracy - i end up getting rid of it in PS by converting the image to Grayscale or using a "convert to B&W" filter on it. Link to comment
ken_imduaikiat2 0 Posted February 26, 2002 Cute... I like the contrast in direction of the shot. And loose the distracting dark trees, electrical posts, street signs, houses, and water tank. I know it's an over-killing take, perhaps, impossible. Hmm... how about croping for a panoramic perspective. You'll sacrifice some sence of perspective for a more simplified shot and draw all the attention to the puppy.. Hmm... I still like the puppy. Link to comment
dave_bazzel1 0 Posted February 26, 2002 Shel, I like this one! I wish, though you (in this picture) and me (all the time) didn't have to deal with overhead wires. -- Keep up the good work! Link to comment
