Saludos, Link to comment
Un abrazo Link to comment
Saludos! Link to comment
Bravo Link to comment
belenalvarez 0 Posted May 15, 2007 Es una foto impactante. Link to comment
Link to comment
mike werkhoven 0 Posted June 18, 2007 After commend on my interior, I payed a visit back on your portfolio. This picture I realy like, the lines in the cloth are in rhyme with the line of the buildings and the restshape between the straigt buildings are nice in contrast of the man`s shape, captured between the buildings, nice. drybrain 0 Posted July 14, 2007 i like the perspective-that's a very sharp angle; were you shooting from a subway exit? i also like the expression you've caught: reminds me of the protagonist of bellow's mr. sammler's planet http://www.saulbellow.org/NovelOverviews/Sammler.html. i think a small piece of a building behind the man's back is a nice detail. i'd really like to see it in B/W. have you tried and decided on color? and a ted more shadow detail, may be? in any case - a good shot. mauroni 0 Posted August 26, 2008 Should Roger Waters have seen this picture at the rigth moment it would have been a Pink Floyd cover! Wonderful. Mauro Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted August 27, 2008 Thank you very much Mauro, double times; first for your visit and comment, and second for your appreciation of this image as a possible album cover. Being a fan of Pink Floyd, it really comes as a great compliment. I've always thought about this picture to be slightly surreal......like something written by Lewis Carroll. Link to comment
mcclure 0 Posted August 31, 2008 the hand tells the story and is payed off with the warning sign in the background - great capture!!! Link to comment

amysn 0 Posted October 28, 2008 Awesome perspective. I've not seen this perspective before and wonder "How did you get this?" Stealth. Love it. Link to comment
bretsch 0 Posted October 31, 2008 Thank you Amy, this actually took me a while and several intents to get right. I saw the man walking on the other side of the street where I was shooting some buildings, and felt the urge to photograph him, so I followed him for a while trying to get a nice shot. Walking behind him, in front and by his side. And it was exactly at this crossing that I kneeled as if I where to tie my shoelaces, that I was able to capture him like I wanted. The funny thing is that he was so self absorbed by his thoughts that he never noticed me following or taking photos of him. I was so happy with the result, that I had to show it to him, which I did.......he smiled, and told me he looked like a true New Yorker. And that was it, nothing more he said., and walk away he did. bretsch 0 Posted November 7, 2008 Indeed......that is why this is one of my all time favorites. When the camera actually lets you meet and get closer to people, something really special will happen. Cheers! Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted February 19, 2009 Hi Juan, My first thought when I saw this apart from the instant appeal was "a building is passing a man". Regards Peter Link to comment
