i love it! by any chance, is that the back of a semi-truck? i have been admiring that same kind of quilted reflective surface every time i pass a truck on the road! i like the reference to Escher here. it certainly applies!

It's the eaves of a local diner . . only one I've ever seen. I have several others from the same place scattered throughout my portfolio.

Excellent lightplay, the frame is disected nicely into distinct areas. But what the hell are you wearing?

Carl I'm not sure I like the portrait, but the reflections to the right are very good and could stand alone - if you know what I mean. From someone that does not know what "Escher" refers to...

Do a Google search on M.C. Escher. I expect you'll recognize some of his work.

Most definitely Escheresque. Fun stuff. I like that the resultant image has several distint regions with different patterns and colors -- again, Escheresque. And I can just barely make out the geese and fish...
