Hani, this is an amazingly powerful image. From your portfolios, I see that you have a good eye for abstract and it carries over to this portrait. The similarity between the shape of the blue and the black areas nicely frame the face and the concentric ovals pull you right into the eyes. In spite of the grotesque distortion the face is extremely pleasant and friendly--the lips stretched into an enormous smile and the eyes bright and cheerful. I love the reflections on the glasses because that is what photography is--reflected light, very appropriate for a self portrait of a photographer. It is a mesmerizing image. I could only make one suggestion--tone down the brightness of the ears so that the full concentration is on the eyes. Well done manipulation.

yes, your comment about the ears are right. i liked the shape of them and that's why i highlighted them. but they grab some attention from the eyes.
