My friend, these shots are from my very first serious attempts at capturing the essence of the streets of Chicago... they're were all taken on the morning of 31st July. There will be quite a few more in this series, let me see whether you like them :)

Great eye here, a fine street shot. Your use of the wide angle is excellent -- love these verticals -- the placement of the three people is wonderful. Again, only a technical problem: The image is much too gray and needs more contrast.

Chris, you're driving me towards learning more PS techniques :)) I agree about the dominance of the midtones. I didn't manipulate this one bit and partly the darkness is intended, but a little more contrast would be nice. Thanks again!

Nice perspective and angle. A well composed shot, maybe a little dark, but it's really good anyway.
