Spy

This photo was shot in a morning`s glowing sun. Yes it is a day shot and it is unmanipulated. So don`t think about lights or lighting effects in Photoshop. The effect was achieved using the spot light metering on my unprofessional camera while the sun was powerfully blowing on the cat`s face... that`s why my kitty holds her eyes half-closed.

However, in my opinion this looks more like a portrait, not like a pet shot... Look at the cat`s expression! She seems to really take your measure! Please tell me what do you think about this photograph. Thanks!

Geez, cats are beautiful. This is a wonderful shot. Like the dark shadows and contrast very much, as well as those strong diagonals of light and shadow. Excellent detail in the cat too. Very beautiful cat and nice shot! About animal portraits, some say there's no such thing. I respectfully disagree. :o) (see my Special Critters).
