This wall dated back several centuries

Ken, the Stylus Epic's lens is sharp enough - I love mine. It could be the printing that took the edge off it.

I think you can even make a series out of these 'tests'. That wall is a good background (except the wires and what's behind it).

Thanks Dan, I croped the two images and reposted them as a series. I didn't give both images that much thought until, I'd received advice on croping/recomposing from a friend (Doug Thacker). Don't you love it when you get good results from just a nomal gear. Thanks again.

I love these kinds of shots with a stark white wall as the background. As for what's above it, I think it adds more to the photo, especially all the crosses: it adds some interesting shapes to the photo. Speaking of shapes, I like the square composition. It really worked in this case.
