Half Dome

I took this from near the top of Yosemite falls on a backpacking trip

across the north rim of the Yosemite valley. The trip was

I have been to half dome and all over Yosemite many times in my life adn seen about a million pictures and this perspective is by far my favorite. Bravo, great pic.

... of Half Dome that we don't usually see. Were you up in the North Dome area?

Awesome shot of Halfdome. It took a moment to catch onto why I was seeing an angle of halfdome that I've never seen before. It seems you were somewhere above the Awahnee Hotel area. Nice view, and great framing using the trees.
