I was at the hospital today and I happened to see that Lipator commercial for the first time. Of course I was trying to see everything but the spokesman and the Lipator graphics. This photo makes a great introduction and interpretation of this location. I am sure this treatment will be copied often in the future.

I just saw the Lipitor commercial the other day. The guy talking is Robert Jarvik who invented the first implantable artificial heart. I happened to stop by when they were filming and was able to walk around and shoot the production crew shooting the commercial. Thanks once again for all of the comments, I appreciate them!

I am afraid I would have to disagree with my friend's 'well lighted' comment. To me the lighting is flat and uninspirational, despite the photographers numerous explanations and extolations beyond the limits of what the snapshot actually shows us. It does not do justice to the grandeur of the architecture.

The inclusion of the tiny person in questionable circumstances -- we only have the photog's statement that it is another photographer. Someone said it is a reverse pregnancy, which statement I can find equally believeable, if not twice as amusing, but it has nothing to do with the attempt at an architectural display.

The interruption of the architectural lines by the person does nothing for me. The person is too small, and the contrasts too bland to make a statement about the grandeur of the building versus the puny person.

The slightly off center composition is a total distraction and unequivically the downfall of this bland, flat light, much photographed place.

"we only have the photog's statement that it is another photographer." It looked like a camera and she was holding it like a camera so I assumed it was a camera. I suppose it could have been an IPod.

I personally like the lack of symmetry. The beam across her head does not bother me. In my short-lived life (and even shorter photographic experience), I have not seen other shots at this setting. Therefore, I think that this shot is amazing. It's not your average architectural shot. I like the inclusion of a living being. Very good execution of this photo, Tim.

I like the fact that the floor appears to be covered in water. It adds an interesting and delicate aethetic to the rigidity above.

Nice work.
