Lovely, lovely landscape. I was living in Ellensburg when she blew and the ash cloud darkened our skies so much the chickens went to roost. Your composition is aptly named, it is beautiful and majestic.

One of the best exposures for a landscape I have ever seen. It would be great if you could explain how you reached this, i.e., grey card, white balance for pre (I assume RAW) processing and any post-processing tips. The shadows, midtones and highlights are perfectly balanced.

We were there in April 2002, the only tourists that morning, the landscape covered in (melting) snow. I could hardly imagine, this incredible colour display few weeks later. Beautifully taken, great work with WA. cheers Jana
