satva_jedi 0 Posted July 24, 2006 I didnt have a tripod. So I just kept my camera on the railings of the London Bridge to take this long exposure shot as the boat went by. Pleasantly surprised by the result. Link to comment

Good to carry something to put under your camera for this kind of stuff to keep from getting it gouged up (maybe a cloth handkerchief or similar). I've used the roof of my car, and even a couple of times caught an interesting reflection off of it that looked like water. A few years back, I saw a clamp-on camera holder that had a tripod head, but clamped onto a car window. I could really use one of those, and I've never seen one since.
