atkphotoworks 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Hi Marco - I like the perspective. Did you also try a version with the plate in focus and the lady in the back blurry? Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted July 24, 2006 No I didn't but I thought about it and I was debating since the lady was the center of the image. I will however, try the alternative. Thank you for the suggestion and as always for the interest. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted July 24, 2006 I hope not, that was Mel, and she got treated to a nice glass of wine and dinner. Thanks for the visit as always. Link to comment
cherlyn 1 Posted July 25, 2006 I like the focus on the lady like this. Her posture is excellently straight. Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted July 25, 2006 I also thought that it offereed an interesting perspective. Thanks for the comment as always. Link to comment

paula grenside 0 Posted July 25, 2006 Magnifica prospettiva, Marco. Link to comment
Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted July 25, 2006 Taken in a restaurant in Los Angeles with the camera sitting on the table counter. I felt that the perspective was worth while. Your comments and critiques are always welcome. Thank you! Link to comment
ransford 0 Posted July 25, 2006 This entire series is excellent. I think I like these interior scenes even better than the exterior ones. You use Mel effectively in public places. Often she could be a stranger, since she reacts to the environment rather than the camera. You 'plan' your 'accidents' very well. I agree with the commenter that linked you to Bresson. Like him, you catch the 'moment.' Link to comment
Jack McRitchie 150 Posted July 25, 2006 Interesting perspective, Marco, your wife is quite a dish. Link to comment
Link to comment
marco_ruggiero 0 Posted July 26, 2006 A heartfelt thank you.Paula:You are right, the eye continues in the depth of the room, and Charo is correct that in that part of the room nothing happens, so perhaps making the windows a more central part might enhance.Charo:Thanks I think that it is a very good suggestion.Ransford:Thanks for you compliment and yes you are right about Mel. On the other side I never seem to plan these, they just happen. Thnaks again for your kind comment.Jack:Always indebted for your kind comments.Mel is not my wife, however, I do agree with you that she is quite a dish, literally and figuratively. Thanks as always I am flattered by your comments.Julio:Como siempre en tu deuda. Link to comment
Abrazotes. Link to comment
amilarakis 0 Posted July 26, 2006 A beautiful artistic photo with excellent composition and very interesting perspective ! Link to comment
imanol 0 Posted July 26, 2006 La foto me gusta. Verdad? Link to comment
jabarbero 0 Posted July 26, 2006 Me gusta mucho, aunque el apunte de charo me parece bueno, ademas la mujer no quedaria tan centrada. Saludos Marco Link to comment
pjmeade 12 Posted July 26, 2006 Hello Marco, I like this shot a lot, it looks like good reportage, even though she is a friend of yours. The lighting and perspective are great, I think you have produced a realy good image here. Regards. Pete Link to comment
Link to comment
