philmorris 0 Posted February 21, 2002 Nice pickie with interesting wall and building, good depth and great colours. I know you're quite happy to hang around for ever 'til the moment arrives, so I guess you got here too late to avoid the shadow. Link to comment

michelle a. 0 Posted February 24, 2002 At least he left a comment for you.....he hit me with a 1/3 rating and ran. And yes his portfolio has one image not worth looking at... I think your image is lovely and colorful, thanks for sharing! :~) Link to comment
marc1 0 Posted February 24, 2002 With regard to our friend gabriele ruf, dr, please feel free to complain, it has worked for me with a David Orange and hopefully with this person, who i might add has only one photo, does that ring a bell! with ratings for 57 people at 4's and 5's. As one has said, at least you had a comment! Secondly: This photo is wonderful, it has the warmth with the coloured walls and coolness of the snow all coming together very well, lovely shot, Marc Link to comment
steviewander 0 Posted February 24, 2002 Thanks for coming to my rescue on that 1/1 score! I personally e-mailed this person and told him that with all that equipment in his portfolio and such high standards, we are all expecting great things from him. If his one picture is any indication of what's to come... Link to comment
dmadden51 0 Posted February 25, 2002 I have never before seen a picture of Adobe structures with snow on them. Very neat. I honestly thought it too warm in that location for snow. Link to comment
aim sdveirs 0 Posted March 1, 2002 I really do think the link to the other image is better, but that IS in my opinion. Also, not to leave this one behind, if not for this image, I would not have seen his work...it is a nice image and was so nice I did click on it. I dont look at them all. Thanks. Link to comment
eduardo_de_la_garma 0 Posted March 4, 2002 I like everything on the photo but I dont like the shadow. Link to comment
marielou_dhumez 1 Posted March 5, 2002 This is a very nice picture, Steven. Very strange snow in this place. I like it very much... And I desesperate of humanity when I see the 1/1 rating from this Gabriele, who is, obviously, the best talented photographer in the world... Link to comment
steviewander 0 Posted March 6, 2002 Wow, I never thought this photo would generate so many ratings. Maybe because it shows as one of my "recent uploads". I tend to agree with all the comments above; yes the shadow really bothers me too. It's certainly not one of my favorite shots, but I still like it. Just wish I would have waited a few more minutes for the sun to rise a little higher. A few people commented on the rarity of snow in Santa Fe. Actually, the town is at 7000 feet (2100 meters) and it gets VERY cold so snow is actually quite common there. Thanks again for the ratings...except, of course, for that 1/1! : ) Link to comment
steve_hovland 0 Posted March 17, 2002 I lived in New Mexico for years so this is a memory of "home." A very charming capture of a season and time of day. Link to comment
glazierman 0 Posted March 24, 2002 I'm new to photography and learining, and as I develope in understanding and the special details to look for my ratings will probably drop. But until then it's a 10. It,s cool looking. It makes me stop and spend some time looking. Link to comment
