edhebert 0 Posted February 22, 2002 Entire image looks a little bit fuzzy. Nice color, though! Link to comment
jan ohrstrom 0 Posted February 23, 2002 Thanks for your input!Myself and a friend put up our tripods and newly bought Nikons, fitted with brand new 80-200 lenses across the Trinity River one winter evening 1990. The aim was to try to catch that golden glow that I seen a couple of times driving by without my cameras. We were after the glow, nothing else.Maybe a bit on the tacky side of the taste line, but very Texan.Nowadays that I lived with this lens and my Nikon for over twelve years I probably would make a better image. It's true that there is a haze (or fuzziness) over this image. I'm not quite sure where this haze stems from, maybe from warm air, maybe from not fully mastering the equipment, maybe from the film, maybe from a bad scanning job, maybe from bad Photshop handling.Probably from all the above reasons and some to me unknown factors. One thing is true though, the scanner that I used, a Minolta Dimage scan Dual II, is not very good with dens dark images. The slide looks much better. On a "totally" other matter...It's very interesting for me as a Swede to see the many different responses to this Dallas image. Is there something in the American culture that I'm missing here? ;-) Br Jan P.S. California is the place and Liberty Ale a real true liquid gold. Link to comment
dean_fleischman 0 Posted February 23, 2002 I love color and about the only thing that can beat great color is great light. Excellent timing on this shot and very nicely composed. Link to comment
