zeb andrews 0 Posted July 22, 2006 A pinhole image of the Ferris Wheel during the Rose Festival in Portland, Oregon. This was about a 20 minute exposure. Enjoy and feel free to comment. Link to comment
doctorbabaguy 0 Posted July 22, 2006 Terrific image! Amazing how sharp the lamp has come out through this pinhole camera without a lens...excellent color and sharpness. How did you calculate the exposure? Link to comment
zeb andrews 0 Posted July 22, 2006 I guessed Animesh. ;-) I figured it needed at least 10 minutes to 30 minutes so I split the difference. The difference between a 10 minute and a 30 minute exposure is only about a stop and a half so I was pretty safe. Plus I had been out a few nights before this shooting similar shots at about the same time with 100 speed film and those came out ok but too thin, so I came back with 400 and kept the times close. dmo_galleries_chicago_phot 0 Posted July 22, 2006 Great shot. The light trail from the passing car is one of the prettiest I've seen in a long-exposure photo. Link to comment
