I have shot only a handful of weddings so I am no expert by any means.I do like the angle and framing you chose on this.It looks like it was in high sun which is unfortunate but I know prime photo times do not fit into the plans of the happy couple ;)

My only critique would be to have thrown the background out of focus more.The leering heads looking over the shrubbery are a bit distracting.Good shot though besides that tid bit.

It's too bad the highlights are completely blown. I understand the desire to properly expose the groom's face, but you've done it at the expense of the highlights. Next time expose one stop down, and fix the shadow exposure in the RAW conversion. You did use RAW, did you not?

 

Thanks for the comments guys. I am so very new to photography. I am getting a Nikon D200 Very soon as well as taking an at home course with NYI. I just need to save up some more money. I can't wait to learn everything there is to know about digital photography. Thank you all and I will be working hard to fullfill my dream. :}

A D200 is a hell of a camera,I wish I could afford one.You can make great photos out of a $50 camera though given the right knowledge.There is a ton of info I learned so much about here and online.Most of my photgraphic education has been selftaught.You have a good start just keep shooting and learning and you'll be making images you didnt think you could do in no time.
