phototron 0 Posted July 23, 2006 Looks a little like one of my bikes. The tones are quite nice; I'm glad you didn't punch up the contrast to much. And the warmtone is very nice. Link to comment
aeaster 0 Posted July 23, 2006 A superior work of art. I am always happy to see more photographers using real cameras again. Link to comment
randall ellis 2 Posted July 24, 2006 I like the composition in general, but the line of the wall is distracting. I think that if you moved forward just a bit to remove the wall from the shot it would be a stronger image. Nice work just the same. Thanks for using film! - Randy Link to comment
patrikroseen 0 Posted July 24, 2006 Thank you all for your kind words! You make me very happy... Randall, the wall is actually a tree just behind the bicykle. I was hesitant whether or not to crop away the tree...seems like you might have made me more certain to take it away. I plan to make a 50x60cm enlargment and by cropping the photograph will actually fit much better. Thank you. Patrik. Link to comment
randall ellis 2 Posted July 25, 2006 Ah yes, I can see the bark now that I am using a better monitor. The image really works for me, except for the tree. I'd love to see the print of this in person. Again, nice work here. - Randy Link to comment
