How is this Done?

I put a large tube around my lens.

I made it look black by putting a large tube around my lens. I didnt

know nothing about manipulating in the darkroom or the computer

thats why I manipulated right in the camera shot.

If the goal is to show something that sort of looks like a free floating planet "holiday inn", then I guess this works. It would be better if it were shot with Hubble like clarity - its pretty unsharp from where I'm sitting. I dunno. Maybe its art.

I sort of reminds me of an experiment I did last summer (check the link below). But you should try to find a subject that would really benefit from this technique.
