Bows

There is alot happening here!!! (smiles)

Perhaps even too much happening. Would it have been possible to crop tighter, or in a horizontal, to better isolate a few shafts and bows?

This is one of my first pictures.

What do I need to improve?

Where there too many Bows for you?

the idea wouldn't be bad, but for me, the picture is to busy! more tele, less DOF, the angle is ok. cropping wouldn't help.

So many photos go for the simplicity effect - this one doesn't. I get tired of everything looking the same and like the conflict and confusion in this photo. I dont think you should focus on only a few of the bows because it would take away from the feel of action...

Would you dare to stand in front of them? :) Just for a sec to take a good picture of them concentrating to take the next shot. Of course you should ask them to stop shooting! :)
