Anthony, thank you very much for the nice comments. I really appreciate your time in contributing a response.

Joseph, thank you for the comment too. As far as the, "footwork" needing to be improved I am uncertain as to what you are referring to. If you could elaborate more as to exactly what you mean it would help.

I am sorry Rob I am not good with words, I said that is because I have been practising and teach thingys for a long time, so probably I see footwork differently. I wich I can explain if only I was there...

Anyway, if you let me try:

like the left foot was almost covering the thigh and perpendicularly link the head with a similar shape of hair, and perhaps a bit too unnatural and uncomfortable?? may be I m wrong completely.

I like the pose as it is. Of course there are always variations on what one could have done. I perhaps would have placed her right arm on to the right leg to form a triangle from shoulder to right foot to left foot also this would create a smaller triangle from the right leg to waist back up to the shoulder.

The one thing that distracts my eye is the drop in the wall behind her head.

Your BW treatment also adds impact to the overall image

Thank you both very much for the additional comments. With the attached diagram I completely understand how I could have created a perfect triangle composition by simply positioning her arm differently.

I will definitely remember this so that I can apply this in a future shoot. Thank you again, your comments have been very helpful!!!

I think the triangle thingy is not important, though I know it's coming from traditional oil paintings, I think to make the whole pic harmonise and the poser be as natural as possible is more important; see the pressing down on the left fingers, and the uneasy pose of the left leg? ( I feel threatening by the left leg )

May be I see ways is different?
