ken_bufton 0 Posted February 19, 2002 The blending in of the models' head with the background is intentional! A reflector was used to bounce light into the unlit side of her face. The catchlights are produced by the window-no flash was used. The white bits on the models' top are actually crystal beads and are more prominent on the print than they are on this scanned version. dmadden51 0 Posted February 20, 2002 I am a big fan of ambient light when used correctly. Good job. Link to comment
mmurphy 0 Posted February 20, 2002 As an individual portrait, this shot isn't so grand. I checked out your folder though and the series of "Laura" shots is quite good. So my rating isn't so much for this shot idividually but for the series as a whole. Link to comment
cedarbough 0 Posted February 21, 2002 too soft for my tastes. my eye is too busy searching for a place with exact focus in the image to see it as a whole. Link to comment
twmeyer 0 Posted February 23, 2002 The light is quite nice, and the disassociated eyes are quite charming, in a disarming sort of way... I think you've come in a bit too tight. The tight crop fights the gentle light... t Link to comment
