Brian 836 Posted February 19, 2002 I've got to be honest, this looks like an out-of-focus shot. Does that make it abstract? Link to comment
ryan_sholin 0 Posted February 19, 2002 Well when I didn't call it "abstract" people thought they were supposed to be seeing something and they couldn't - I just like the texture of the sky and the graphic nature of the photo, which was captured by pure luck at sunset in the desert when these birds came out of nowhere. What do I have to title something on this site for people to understand that they don't need to know what they're looking at? Link to comment
edhebert 0 Posted February 19, 2002 Lots of people get freaked out if they can't identify what an image is trying to capture. Not me. I think this image does capture something - maybe a flock of birds as might be seen in a dream. Nice approach - keep at it. Link to comment

ryan_sholin 0 Posted February 20, 2002 ...not from underwater -- probably 100 or 400 tri-x or tmax, with some filtration - either a yellow or red, and just some strange luck, photoshop just for levels and contrast, nothing major. Link to comment
