Brian 836 Posted February 19, 2002 This image would benefit very much from a focal point of some kind. As it stands, the pattern in the sand is not really enough to carry it. Link to comment
ezzz 0 Posted February 19, 2002 Nice colors. The sand seems however a bit fuzzy and over saturated Link to comment
carl smith 0 Posted February 19, 2002 I like the simplicity in this. In addition to the nice, smooth flowing sands. Link to comment
edhebert 0 Posted February 19, 2002 Like the composition - colors look a bit artificial, though. Link to comment
rob martin 0 Posted February 20, 2002 a bit more texture in the sand would make this way more appealing Link to comment
jc beckman 0 Posted February 20, 2002 If I hadn't been here once myself, I'd be inclined to think Brrrrr!!! Nice minimalistict, stark image. Any filtering or photoshopping on the sky's saturation? 8/6 Link to comment
ryan_sholin 0 Posted February 20, 2002 Just checked the original and there's actually not a lot of manipulation on this one -- mostly just color correction to remove all the magenta from my cheapo scan. (definitely a polarizer on the lens though) Link to comment
charlesshupe 0 Posted February 21, 2002 I do not think it needs a focal point. The play of simply two colors carries this well. If this was not manipulated, you did a great job metering. Link to comment
