nigel d 0 Posted July 13, 2006 Overall, I like the shot. The first two things that I noticed were the cut off treetops on the right and the large rock centered in the foreground. It might be worthwhile to see what it would be like with the camera angled higher to get the treetops and standing a few steps closer to elimate the large central rock in the foreground. Alternately, a view from a few paces to the left would eliminate the pieces of buildings that can be seen on the left and would remove the one rock from the center of the picture. Link to comment
iren 1 Posted July 14, 2006 Thanks for taking the time to comment. I understand what you are saying, but I liked the big rock in the "green crater"~ that's what caught my eye. Maybe the next time I return to Tofino, I'll try the angle you've suggested. However, this one is similar here What do you think? Regards, Iren Link to comment
nigel d 0 Posted July 15, 2006 I prefer the other photo to which you have linked principally because the rock is not centred. The "bulls-eye" approach seems to work in a limited number of situations. Link to comment
