ted_petricini 0 Posted February 17, 2002 Here's what the skiers don't see. This was taken before everthing was shut down for skiing. The mountain was in total fog. Temp was -02 deg f. Taken into the rising sun. Link to comment
marc_fraioli2 0 Posted February 19, 2002 I like the basic image, but I don't like the hose or the faintly visible snowmaking machine. Link to comment
james_ryan_carssow 0 Posted February 20, 2002 I'll have to disagree entirely with previous post. Leaving in the hose but obscurring the actual snow-making machine took a bit of thought and positioning (to get the sun behind the "haze" just right) and creates an interesting composition. The hose leads the eye to where the snow-blower "is" and thus leaves us to wonder what is back there making all this ruckus. This is a "noisy" photo, but in a good way -- you can almost hear roaring engine of the darn thing as it blows snow everywhere. The mood is just right. Link to comment
rob martin 0 Posted February 20, 2002 Hard to shoot these. The effects are nice. The brightness on the right is a little much but so what?? Link to comment
vonsh 0 Posted February 21, 2002 i think the picture could be cropped a bit - a half of an inch from each side ... Link to comment
