hy 0 Posted July 11, 2007 Everything already said about this scenery. It's a great capture of unbeautified life. Though, everytime I look at it, this shovel to the left distracts a little. Best regards Link to comment
vidisorin 0 Posted July 13, 2007 I believe the shovel belongs there...it's the truth...and completes the documentary side of story.....the visual impact is very strong due to the contrasting tones and vivid colours....a world of congruence and antagonism...of so many different worlds.... My best regards and congratulations Drop by... Link to comment
kirk d 0 Posted July 13, 2007 Great story of mother and child. Shows burden of mothers that have no choice but to shoulder multiple jobs; here, she is getting water while tending to child (a job in itself). I have to agree with Hasan about the shovel. Although its not totally distracting and you probably couldn't control the natural background, the image would be perfect without it. The small glimpse of the water is perfect and the mound of grey on the left directs your eye into the scene; even the trees leaning in that direction do so. Kirk Link to comment
