Nice colours, both the gold and silver look well balanced. 'The other half' theme can be seen in a number of ways in this photo. What are these faces a part of? IS it fine art? Is it part of a larger piece of work? Is it yours, PT, or someone else's used in your photographic piece of art? Not that any of that matters to my overall enjoyment of the photo, I'm jsut interested.

Does the title yy stands for ying-yang?

Nice picture PT.

I like the composition and the light. Like stated above, there are many possible theme fits here.

The only thing I can say, but it is so small, it's nothing... I would have prefered the upper left corner to be a bit lighter. Or the lower left corner to be a bit darker. Or the composition to crop both these corners. It makes me feel, a tiny bit, uncomfortable that both left corners are not the same intensity.

Cheers

I like the way the silver & gold surfaces make the most of the available light. The contemplative nature of the image has me thinking of inner space as the other - significant - half. Nice, PT - there's space within the image for the viewer to utilise.

I like it even as out of theme fit, as it has a nice composition and some mystery. I as well thought the yy is reffering to yen-yang. good light and aesthetic image, my only nit is the upper part left dark "blob" connected to his head, maybe a continuation of another ellement, but i would have cloned it ,IMO the composition will be "purer". Interesting PT to know what is the origin of this piece? nicely done and fits the theme.

A great addition to the folder, well done for the aesthetics and theme fit in more ways than one.

It's intriguing to say the least! I like the sloping line that links left and right.

Since a lot has been said already the following are only nit picks or thinking aloud : 1) if you crop top and left you get more separation effect between the two faces (perhaps stronger theme fit?) 2)the upper half of the blue face appears a tiny bit bright (perhaps increase the contrast in that area?).

Catchy aesthetics as well as a very good theme fit, PT. To me, this is one of those that works well without being literal halves per se, and lends itself to quite a few interpretations. On the sculptural aspect, it looks to me like one of those sculptures where the crescent shaped moon is wrapped half way around the sun. In that case, I like that you haven't included the crescent part.
