nathan_todd 0 Posted February 18, 2002 A little too much contrast this time. Nice blacks on the back of the bench and highlights on the front of the bench but the entire lack of detail in the street is a little to much. Link to comment
steve_mammone 0 Posted February 19, 2002 nice contrast. interesting shadows. very cool Link to comment
rob martin 0 Posted February 19, 2002 Interesting, the overexposed bits could have had a little more texture. Probably the harsh light prevented it . . . Link to comment
kevin pritchard 0 Posted February 19, 2002 Nice classical shot. I can imagine this hanging on my wall and enjoying very much. Link to comment
semiotician 0 Posted February 25, 2002 I really like this shot. I like the interplay of the shadows and structure. B+W certainly works perfectly here Of the two I rated of yours I found this superior . The reason being the unusualness of this shot. I found the different structures in the other shot a bit normal. (Barred window, rusty pipe and bricks) Where as this one shows a different angle all together. Link to comment
mg 0 Posted September 10, 2002 I like the composition and the light here. The little corner top right isn't most welcome, but no real problem either. The question on my mind as I saw this was "where to crop on the right side. What I'm quite convinced about is that the leg of this bench at the extreme right, near the edge, isn't to good - so I'd suggest to crop this off at least. But cropping more on the right also seems interesting - though not necessary... Regards. Link to comment
