b_turner 0 Posted July 11, 2006 I like it. Only real 'nit' I have is with the DOF. Focus on the eyes is good, but the other facial details start to blur a bit. I'm assuming that you shot this from a higher point looking down. That would put the chin at a further point away (distance-wise) from the eyes. What lens did you use? Link to comment
joe_ethridge 0 Posted July 11, 2006 Hi Brent, Thanks for the comments. The lens was a Canon 50mm USM f/1.4, mounted on a Canon 10D, making it the same as an 80mm lens on a 35mm film camera. I was shooting on program using window lighting only, so the lens was probably wide open at 1.4 or in that vicinity. Joe Link to comment
