I am sorry Evgeny all this kinf of your work tels my from the: side concept, side scenografy and "art". nothing special. Almoust every scond beginer exercises body paintings. But you have the pasion for ugly and horror. You transform the preaty models in dorg adictedes colours. In plus there are not just few lightings mistakes. Ist a very depresiv work. Why dont use your talent from witch you have inaugh for real art positiv and lovely for eyes. There are also very superficial done, couse its a lot of work and probabily you lose your patient at the end. The result: amateur shots. Including the red compositions. You have to give also some beautyful to the compositions, and non ordinary. In my photo schol nobody could get throu witch such a work. I am in the 3 th year of NY University but nobody could get a admision rate with this work tendence.

I am shore you are groving like artis, it wil be great to try some profound artistical and aesthetic. I hate to give 3 and 3 or 4 I wish I give you after so many work the maximu rate.

Sorry for my Englisch,

Success,

Yours,

Mony.

With all due respect, NYU would let anyone get in who has the money! Do you honestly think only the talented people who are after the beautiful things in life get into NYU? Don't be so naive!

This image may not be your cup of tea but you should not make such general statements about the work that is done here just because you don't like it. It is NOT artistic of you! Come on! I always thought they taught you better in those top notch universities!!!

I just checked your portfolio Evgency, great body of work! Monica, what are you thinking? Your a 3rd year student at a major North American University and that's the best you can do? Drop some attitude and learn.

You know, it is so nice that a person was not so lazy to write so many words. Mony, sweety, it is so great that you mentioned about 3 years in NYU - you have just shown what you are - everybody appreciated you as a photographer I am sure. But let us follow the ratings (though it is stupid may be..). I guess that those 15 people having voted for this my work are just jerks for you - may be it is natural to think so in your university. Even a mean thought of it did not appeared in your head - your statement stink. Well, probably you will understand this as soon as you finish your education. By the way, I fulfilled the form of BYOGRAPHY especially for you. First I was going to tell you one story about who is who in this world, but then remembered that you are just a 3d-year student and decided not to. You have managed to decline yourself on your own not needing any help. Why?...

So, I should add something beautiful....May be you? Please, come to our place, teach us everything you know and show us the way "art" should be represented...we cannot help waiting. The rest of our lives we will be proudly carrying banners with your name on them. Seriously. We - me (see the byography) and that very photograhper whos shots you called "amateur"(and who started to photograph the nude appr. when you where born).

Your english is bad indeed, you should use a dictionary as often as you can (just a recomendation).

And. Better do not show these comments to your teachers in NYU, there is a possibility they will not appreciate them the way you wish.

Our Mony will grow up a little before she will start to think before saying. Agree about NYU. Noone can buy skill for money. You can thow out your diploma if you don't have work to show. And I don't understand what Mony can think not having neither this nor that.

Evgeny,

I'm not a professional and I didn't have the pleasure of attending the all mighty NYU but I did study at the finest community college in southern Florida for 2 years. Anyhow I think that all of your photos are excellent, very beautiful. Not all of us want to see pictures of pretty little kitty cats, flowers or cute puppy dogs. Great Work!

And now a message for Monica the great,

I'm going to give you a little advice while you're studying hard at NYU that someone should have told you along time ago, quit being so narrow minded!! Something that you think is ugly could easily be considered beautiful and pretty by someone else. Some of the greatest pieces of art in the world are of dark/negative or demonic themes but that does not take away from the quality of the work. I hope you do realize that we do not live in a prefect world and that there are a lot of negative real life issues out there (drugs, war, murder, ect.) but that does mean that they should not be photographed, painted or talked about. Good luck at NYU--you're gonna need it.

Phil

Weird, very weird, and I'm not refering to your photo! Why is it nobody wants negative comments? I previously mentioned Photoshop filters used to save a snapshot and got the same reaction.

Why have a ratings system if you are not allowed to disagree? If all low ratings gets this sort of reaction just give all 7/7's. If you put your "art" up you volunteer to be criticised! Take the good with the bad or don't post. I happen not to like this either. Besides, if the photographer did not do the body painting very little of this "art" is his.

It does not matter that you are not professional. The pictures have good impact and this is good in itself. What we do must aruse some emotions, no matter whether they are positive or negative, the main is that they appear, it would be much worse if people remained indifferent. And thanks for your good openion about works.

Hi!

I don't criticise goddesses, so I can't say anything about Monica!

I like the body art here; if you did it, Evgeni, you are superb. If not, this is still a good, well-lit studio shot, with an interesting concept.

I am pleassed to hear from professional photographers)). I am not against constructive critique at all. But here I do not see any . If anyone begins to critisize as a professional I guess he/she should correspond the level him/herself. When a person, who doesn not concern photography and only can take yet amateur pictures , leaves his openion, it is normal I think. I am not supposed to be loved by everyone. But, excuse me, when such amateur leaps into professional terminology he is anacquaintad with - I think it is stupid. I just go and see his works and understand that the person has a very faint idea of what he is talking about. You even will not have to go too far, just visit Mony's page and you will get what I mean. CHE_BU_RA_SHKA!!!)

Let's talk Photo: I like this shot very much.

The model is very profesional in the way she looks and poses

The painting is a little bit scary ;-), however it doesn't disform the perfect body of the model. There's a lot of impact

There's alot to say and i just want to put a 7/7
