atkphotoworks 0 Posted July 14, 2006 Amalda, I like the original version better and in particular the orange colour of the ground. I see this and think of the poem "The Road Not Taken" Link to comment
amalsircar 2 Posted July 14, 2006 Many thanks for your appreciation. Alec-Yes.Amar-The poem also came in my mind. Link to comment
awaraagard 0 Posted July 14, 2006 awesome depiction of life's greatest dilemmas. the crossroads, so powerfully present in all life situations. mood, stance, composition, color all very suggestive. clearly a pictorial rendering of robert frost's most loved poem " the road not taken ". frost symbolizes woods a lot & the way u shoot this image is exactly he wanted 2 show 2 roads vanishing into the woods. its one of those memorable pictures that only come with maturity & true life experience. sircar ji, ur recent work will haunt me 4 the rest of my life. u outdo urself here! just too good! regards! nirakara 0 Posted July 19, 2006 A very nice and interesting photo! I love everything about this. The texture on the road; the colors; contrast; composition... the very obvious indecisive feel... something that pretty much everyone can relate to :-) A tiny nitpick would be to see the pose of the lady to be slightly more casual and (may be) to see some very slight hint of movement. kleintje 0 Posted August 7, 2006 Wonderful capture Amal! You can actually feel the dilemma she's facing; slightly inclining to the right, but also looking at the left road as if she's really not too sure about where to go... Link to comment
