milkandhoney 0 Posted July 7, 2006 dudes got some intense eyes. is there a background story to this picture? Link to comment
siyeouki 0 Posted July 7, 2006 Yeah, amazing picture. The light and the amount of detail are great. IMO just a little cropping would be nice, maybe a 1/6 or a 1/5. But a really goos picture anyway. Link to comment
momente 0 Posted July 8, 2006 A bit creepy, indeed, but that's what makes this a great shot, originally framed. If you want a similar old man (at least in terms of facial hair) with a totally opposed expression, you could check out this guy I know. :) Link to comment
damon_chitsaz1 0 Posted July 8, 2006 A 7/7 shot.. I love the composition and framing as well, gives it a great cinematic expression... Tell us whats the story behind this.. Link to comment
generic american 1 Posted July 10, 2006 I love creepy people. Not sure I understand the title. Fantastic shot though, something I'd hang on my wall (I have a wall of creepy old man photos). The crop works really well. It adds to the creepy effect. It could be cut off on the left a little or it could be made longer and it would still work. In fact, I would love this photo if it had about 5 times as much space on the left, because then the guy in the photo would be creepy and people would think the guy who did the cropping was weird too. sideris 0 Posted April 6, 2010 I guess that titles should have some connection with the subject of the image. But in this extraordinary case it doesn't matter. Such a formidable work. The pan rendering is a genial touch, same with the dof. Unique capture of a striking personality. Chapeau for you. Link to comment
