George Washington Bridge & clock tower

I don't really like this strange composition. It disturbs me that both tower and bridge don't seem to stand on anything. Including more of the foreground might have helped a little. Furthermore I'd cropp off a good part on the left side.

 

Actually, I think you had better chosen the tower OR the bridge, than putting them together like this.

Both of your images reveal a good eye for architectural forms. One technical bit: the images seems unsharp - is that due to the scan? For this type of image, I look for tack sharpness.
