melissapapajphotography 0 Posted July 12, 2006 Is it better in Black and White or color? Link to comment
fotografir 0 Posted July 12, 2006 Melissa, I cannot answer why the low ratings but I can tell B/W photos are just about always better. I viewed your portfolio and think you have done wonderful. I think we have somewhat of the same eyes for capturing moments in time. This is a classic photo. Maybe it was just the fly away hair.(just kidding) Thanks for the kind words on my post. Jebamony 3 Posted July 12, 2006 Although the B/W version is good, I like the colour version. Did you try the "Lightness Channel" method for converting to B/W? Link to comment
kellen1 0 Posted July 12, 2006 Hi, I love that it is B & W, you could do a focal B&W where just one area is in color (look at my portfolio to see one titled "Lunch" and judge for yourself) but the black and white tones illuminate the skin...good job! Link to comment
LenMarriott 9 Posted January 4, 2009 I prefer B&W for people portraits but for infants both B&W and colour each have their own unique appeal. I chose this B&W one to comment on because I have a similar one to show. OK, not under 3 months but if we're into showing cute butts I offer this one for your consideration. Would make a cute W\NW thread don't you think? Best in the new year, LM. Link to comment
