just got a Canon 350D Digital Xt kit.

the lens is ok and will have to upgrade a bit later.

got a rugged pelican case for rough traveling.

this shot is a classic in my eyes very nice indeed.

Hey Evan~ thank you again for your comments! Yes, I was very happy with this one. The colors last night were striking....I had hoped to catch a bit of its beauty. I just upgraded to my Canon a year ago and ..well... it is the best investment ever! I love the lens too. I really do not have much experience with super high dollar lenses...not yet anyway...so I don't have much to compare it with. All in time.... :)

I'm very pleased to see that the basics of composition were observed here. Too many times I see the sun right in the middle of the frame and the horizon cutting right throu the middle. Your color is good, your exposure is good, and I like that you included some elements in the forground.
