marco mugnatto 0 Posted February 18, 2002 GREAT! But isn't the broken mirror intentional? Link to comment
mjobk 0 Posted February 22, 2002 You have a very interesting folder, it's eclectic. This shot, intentional broken mirror or not, is really cool. My only critique would have been to compose much tighter around the frame to elimintate the pale sky background. Keep the photos coming, thanks. Link to comment
pampolin 1 Posted February 22, 2002 This mirror is not intentional broken. Photojournalism don't permit montage. Link to comment

samdeleted 0 Posted May 14, 2002 What's great about this is that it takes a moment to figure out which way round you are looking at the mirror. The reflection of a clown putting on his mace-up is done quite a lot, so you expect it to be like that - until you finally match the shoulders to the face. Link to comment
cux 0 Posted April 27, 2004 Paulo, there are many points for which this is a excellent photo. I'm supposing the photo is not posed, isn't? but I would like to know if the clown was aware of you, or if this is a "stolen" image; and how many shots did you take before to choose this one?Anyway, the framing (letting you to see the face of the clown from the broken mirror and from outside the mirror itself at same time), the angle of view (slight bottom-up), the depth of field (focused on the eyes and mouth) are for me excellent. The face of the clown, concentrated on the make-up, is the main center of attention; but I cannot stop to shift my glance from the ear to the face and from the hand to the black rear of the mirror.Playing with mirrors usually gives situation in which you have multiple planes and points of view: you reached that aim showing us a broken mirror from its rear! luca_corlatti 0 Posted June 17, 2005 A really good capture. Congratulations! It makes me think about the struggle between the soul (the dark side, unknown...) and the face he?s used to show (a mask). Link to comment
hekate 0 Posted January 22, 2007 wonderful ! great play upon perception-because you can have the feeling that what we can see from the face is a reflection-, super photo! Link to comment
