Very nice - good form, the bulge in the fence apparently leading the eye out over an inviting sea to the horizon. I should like to see a mono version of this, Jacqueline.

I thought it may look better monochromatic as well, so here is my version. I am still learning "curves" on PS......what do you think?

I was thinking of a bit more contrast with darker midtones. This is what I did :

>converted to RGB

>increase contrast in Curves (S curve)

>Selective Colour - Neutrals - Black (+15 to 20 slider value)

>duplicate edited layer, reduce opacity to 30%, change blending mode to Multiply

>Merge layers

>Colour Balance - tone to taste

I always find something I missed before in your portfolio! I like the muted, but real colours. I think you lose that special thing in a B&W.
