seven 0 Posted July 13, 2006 Very nice - good form, the bulge in the fence apparently leading the eye out over an inviting sea to the horizon. I should like to see a mono version of this, Jacqueline. Link to comment
marahjj 0 Posted July 13, 2006 I thought it may look better monochromatic as well, so here is my version. I am still learning "curves" on PS......what do you think? Link to comment
seven 0 Posted July 14, 2006 I was thinking of a bit more contrast with darker midtones. This is what I did :>converted to RGB>increase contrast in Curves (S curve)>Selective Colour - Neutrals - Black (+15 to 20 slider value)>duplicate edited layer, reduce opacity to 30%, change blending mode to Multiply>Merge layers>Colour Balance - tone to taste Link to comment
marahjj 0 Posted July 14, 2006 Thank you Seven for sharing with me how you accomplished this. It helps me alot with my PS skills! Link to comment
lucyhollis 2 Posted March 3, 2007 I always find something I missed before in your portfolio! I like the muted, but real colours. I think you lose that special thing in a B&W. Link to comment
