Not something to do, good adition to folder. I like the atmosphere, especially the girl giggling and the motion feeling. Not too much to change, maybe to move the subject away from the center.

cheers,

I find the action interesting - the man seems to be crossing as a "car" rather than as a pedestrian (he's moving left to right, not fg to bg) so perhaps he actually has a green light in his favour. I don't see the giggling woman but I do see one who seems to be eating or removing something from her teeth. The colours are well-rendered for such strong light, so too the contrast with detail in all the necessary places (where the eye rests.) I feel I might want to see the top of the red light, PT, but that is the only change which suggests itself. Nicely done.

A very interesting image, PT. Nice bright colours and you have handled the highlights very well. The man in the foreground makes me want to yell NO! a- He is walking in the wrong direction, and b- since the walk signal is on for people going from background to foreground, this means the man walking left to right is crossing a red light. It's just so wrong. Very nice capture,

Cheers,

This is nice thinking on your feet, PT. Just turning your camera around for a portrait format would've made this a lot better that would've taken out the extraneous stuff too and closed in on the action and theme. Including more of the red light would've made it more obvious as suggested earlier and also, the guy turned in the right way with his back towards us. The guy turned towards the traffic(!) was what I noticed first too!! May be he just ran fast a bit diagonally. Since this is a spontaneous shot you couldn't have done much about the lighting.

For a picture called "Red light", I agree with Seven, we should be able to see the rest of the light.

The only "No" I see is the bald guy in the tank top. He appears to be starting to walk against the light. Maybe this was PT's intention since the guy in the jeans is apparently moving in the correct direction. I like the idea of the guy in jeans being the traffic eveyone else must wait for.

Thanks to you all. It is one of the most busy crossroads, he WAS crossing a red light and changed his direction( basicly from fg to bg, where all the people are standing) because of cars coming, I think that the red light is very well accentuated even a tiny bit is mising on the upper part.

I find it very funny! He is leaning forward so much, and you have caught the leg action very well.

Well done to have got this. Certainly strong enough theme fit IMO.

You could shift the emphasis a bit more to the right by cropping off two of the three posts on the left. I'm not sure about including or not the traffic light post on the right. I like the static-ness of the man with hat, and feel that might be emphasised more if the post wasn't there.

Thanks for the laugh.

Be thankful that there's 1) a pavement 2) a crossing (red or green)!

I hate when people cross the street when this is not their time. This is what cause all the traffic jams. If people would only respect rules a little more, the pollution would be decreased a lot. Good theme fit.

What I find a little strange is the direction this man is taking. Like if he was a car, going in the streets. And somehow, the position of his arms suggest a train in my brain. I guess it's time for another coffee!
