I think that you need a little bit more contrast IMHO, so she would look more detached from the background, but good overall!

As the lighting at scene is so soft, I would enhance that a little in post production extending the Mid-Tone Range and also the Mid Tone Contrast.

I think that would enhance the Punch, the Subject and her Pose bring to the viewer.

As is, it is a tending toward an anti-climax, apropos visual impact.

I just came across this image and see the differenece.

When I shot this and placed it here my PS skills were in diapers, not a PS virtuos nowadays, but agree that the original needed to be fixed!

I think you got “the punch” from the shallow DoF of the 300/2.8 and the timing of the shutter release – the contrast enhance, was just a bit of icing on the cake.
