I like that you've not centered you subject in the frame, and your color looks good. I also like the use of "depth of field", but keep in mind that when using "DOF" as an artistic element, you really need to hve your subject SHARP. Here the subject is a bit fuzzy, thus not pulling the eye to it and not making the photo pop. I hope that my comments are of use and if you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
