ivanmik 0 Posted July 1, 2006 Excellent timing! Maybe a little more space at bottom could improve this image, but timing is perfect! Link to comment

chad_goldman 0 Posted July 1, 2006 Thanks, it happened so quickly. I was watching him for about 20 minutes and was in the process of flipping my camera to get a vertical shot when he struck as the fish. It was so fast, I barely had time to react. It is cool though, I did capture the whole process even the drink of water the heron took to wash it down. it was quite exhilirating. cg Link to comment

jnicholson 0 Posted July 2, 2006 Hi Chad, that's the biggest fish I've seen a GBH catch. Very nice colors in this shot. I would consider cloning out the reflections in the water behind the head and up to the top of the frame. Nice shot. Link to comment

Hey, i'm pleased to announce that this photo won the Spring Mill State park photo contest. (hold the applause til the end please :) Yea, it's not National geographic or anything, but the first i've entered into. So many thanks goes out to the many people who have helped me since my first photo posting. thanks! chad Link to comment
