I like the composition very much especially the way that you have framed the bench with the palm Tree. It invites one to sit. Good contrast. I personally would clone out the line on the wall behind the bench.

Maybe it's a water hose. This is a nice shot, Mel. Good contrast and grain. I'll bet everyone who sits on that bench ends up on the right side. Cheers.

Interesting, but I agree to lose the line...If I'd been framing this shot, I'd have been over there dragging the bench to the other side... It has taken me forever to consider cloning something out of a film-based shot!

Mel, me gustan mucho, pero que mucho las tonalidades conseguidas, una uniformidad muy acorde con la soledad que inspira la foto. Estoy de acuerdo con Guido en suprimir, tal como ha hecho, la linea de la pared. IMHO, y ya que el banco parece poco pesado lo hubiera corrido un poquito hacia la derecha, y no me preguntes porque, solo es que me lo pide la foto.

So did you ask the guy to move before you took the shot - or did he come along afterwards just to get his picture taken? (referencing your previous post to me).

Sorry, I didn't recognize you :) I need to be more careful. But the figure is pretty small in the image, you know. I already wear glasses. I'm beyond help. Cheers.

agree about contrast ... just a tad more ... but what a marvelous composition. bravo.
