marco_ruggiero 0 Posted June 29, 2006 I like the composition very much especially the way that you have framed the bench with the palm Tree. It invites one to sit. Good contrast. I personally would clone out the line on the wall behind the bench. Lonely, but good shot. Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Is that a line, or a skinny skinny tree trunk?!add note: June 30 ~ **please see below comment to see original photo before the line on the wall was successfully cloned out! Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Maybe it's a water hose. This is a nice shot, Mel. Good contrast and grain. I'll bet everyone who sits on that bench ends up on the right side. Cheers. Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Thank you so much Barry. I think you will win that first bet. Link to comment
Guest Guest Posted June 30, 2006 Interesting, but I agree to lose the line...If I'd been framing this shot, I'd have been over there dragging the bench to the other side... It has taken me forever to consider cloning something out of a film-based shot! Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted June 30, 2006 and very well! i might add! that was so tricky looking at all that light and shadow!mille grazie! comme toujours! sempre... Link to comment
meli d 0 Posted June 30, 2006 well, not as close to the right side as I thought, but see what you think ! me on the bench! Link to comment
Link to comment
biswajit 0 Posted June 30, 2006 Very artistic and effective composition, nice b&w work. Regards Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted June 30, 2006 So did you ask the guy to move before you took the shot - or did he come along afterwards just to get his picture taken? (referencing your previous post to me). Link to comment
afs760bf 0 Posted June 30, 2006 Sorry, I didn't recognize you :) I need to be more careful. But the figure is pretty small in the image, you know. I already wear glasses. I'm beyond help. Cheers. Link to comment
sarahunderhill 1 Posted July 6, 2006 I like this shot. Good composition. I might increase the contrast. Good eye. Link to comment
