jmcconnell2 0 Posted June 27, 2006 Very good color/contrast, the picture looks alive. Link to comment
aepelbacher 0 Posted June 28, 2006 Again, a bit dark for my taste ... but then again, it could be my monitor. The water, the rocks in the foreground, the mountains and clouds in the background ... they're all beautiful elements, well-captured. Link to comment
regis 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Thank you for your comments. Lou Ann - I guess there must be something wrong with your monitor. I use 2 hardware-calibrated screens to make sure everything with the exposure is ok. Perhaps a small adjustment could help here - but I really recommend you some hardware calibration tool to do this. Best Regards, Piotr. Link to comment
arnabbanerjee 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Great details and mood - only thing that bothering me is the nearby cliff on the top right. Does it add to the composition? Somehow I feel that excluding that part from your composition would create a better balance - just a thought Link to comment
regis 0 Posted June 29, 2006 Arnab - in my opinion the cliff is absolutely necessary here. First of all it somehow compensate the bright left side and secondly it leads your eyes to the distant background. This is my vision of course - everything is a matter of taste ;). Link to comment
