Sorry I got my forks mixed up. This was really taken on the middle fork of the American River, not the south. Not that it makes much difference.

This one is very refreshing. I like the aqua tint in the water and there are some lovely hues in the rock. The exposure time on the water is just about right for my liking. And remember - dinner fork on the outside, dessert fork on the inside.

Thank you Hanna. I am glad you like it. Looking at it makes me hungry too. :)

I took a half a dozen shots of this scene at shutter speeds ranging from from a half a second to 8 seconds. Its amazing the different looks you get. The problem with the real long speeds is you lose the texture in the water.

Thank you Pascal. I'm glad you like it. Setting up a tripod for this image was hard, but looking through the viewfinder and framing the image afterward was almost more than my back could take. The footing was very uneven and I thought I was going to turn into a pretzel. I'm happy with the results though, so it was worth the effort.
