I love the color. Fun crop...

Great way to bend the rules a bit, and make this a playful and interesting photo! I almost feel like I'm playing hide and seek with the subject, which brings a smile to my face. Great focus and colors as well.

This is maybe my favorite portrait...

For this I just had my standard zoom lens by Nikon (18-70mm). I prefer Nikon's 50 mm (f1.8) for portraits of this sort, but I didn't have time to change lenses. The sun was on it's way down, and I had to use every second available at this wonderful place. This site is used by artists (painters) because of the great light out there.
