The depth and perspective here are wonderful, as is the color palette. I could look at this for a long time.

Pnina, the colours and repetition here are wonderful. You've managed to get just enough sky while retaining all of the FG birds feet. There is also a lovely pattern with the birds as they recede.

Excellent depth & mood, Pnina, what a fabulous photo opportunity this is. Somehow I wish the lens was wider so I could see more. One of my favourites of yours.

Sarah, Mark Jeff Ray and Seven. It is a place swamped with birds while the migration is taking place. It is a breath taking phenomenon . I was there twice this year. we were seating in a vehicle closed from 3 sides so we could get closer with out being seen, but it was still quite far, So Seven, it was not practical to use a wide angle.

If you want to see more from that visit look:

here

Ray, it is as taken, only some contrast , it was a very heavy fog that morning.

Beautiful work Pnina. These muted colors work very effectively here as nothing distracts from these layers of repeated forms and the splash of silvery water is just perfect giving this image both context and a nice touch of contrast. I love this tranquil feeling...

It must look wonderful as a larger print on a wall... (I can imagine it on one of my walls :-)

Nice work Pnina. I like the way the bird's heads face to the left and right almost alternately. The gradual lightening into the distance is also great. Must have been an impressive scene to witness.

Marco, thanks you as well!

Wilson, you have a good suggestion, it is a possibility, even I think that the empty bg, gives it a "breathing space". Thanks for letting me know what you think, I appreciate it and love your work.

Richard, thansk you too!

Pnina, you lucky one! Very nice, especially the clever DOF management. You created a wide, homegene area by the slightly blurred foreground corresponding with the mist in the bg.

Those wonderful patterns thinning in the distance are simply great. The colors and tones are delicious. The background looks like some kind of delicate, artistic print. Beautiful.

Hi Pnina, this is a very dynamic visual image. . . the "layering" from the front to the back of the image is very effective. . . I like the break in the composition provided the the water. . . nice work!
