mathewcook 0 Posted June 22, 2006 Taken on the island of Molokini (a couple miles off the island of Maui). Thanks for thoughts/critiques. Link to comment
laurent_jaussi 0 Posted June 22, 2006 a very nice underwater...it should not be easy to get the right exposure fot this kind of shot...I like the "2/3 underwater - 1/3 above compo" with the boat in the BG...congratulations... Link to comment

kentb2 0 Posted June 22, 2006 Wow! what a great shot. The boat in the back ground is really nice for perspective also. Don't know if it's PS free but it really doesn't matter to me. Great work. Link to comment
2Oceans 224 Posted June 23, 2006 Molokini is one of my favorite locations and this image immediately grabbed my attention. Good job balancing the surface light with that underwater. Andy Link to comment
jstyles 0 Posted June 23, 2006 What a great shot! I'd be curious to know whether the background was added in - just seems like the perspective underwater doesn't really match up, but maybe there's a coral ridge or something? I love the turtle and beautiful sea-green water - nice one, and plenty of other great turtle shots in your portfolio too! Link to comment
mike roberts 0 Posted August 1, 2006 Nice work. Turtles are relatively rare at Molokini anyway, but to get a setup for a shallow split shot is very cool! Link to comment
jean_paul_chevalier 0 Posted July 1, 2009 What a pic ! I work with sea turtles and I am aware of how patient one must be to achieve a pic like this. Congratulations ! Link to comment
