w. roger keagle 0 Posted June 21, 2006 Took several shots of this trying to get the right exposure of both the leaf and sky....how did I do ? Link to comment
timnichols 0 Posted June 21, 2006 I spent some time trying to do this the other day and ended up discarding my failed efforts. You got it right! I like the way you've composed it too. That little arc of a stem that holds the leaf is nice. The effect is nice. Congratulations. Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted June 21, 2006 Funny, you can see the result in yor minds eye, but at times it never seems to come out the way you hope...that I think is good and bad, perhaps the failures help us to find new experences. Link to comment

kslonaker 0 Posted June 25, 2006 I'm with Tim - I've tried similar shots and can't get them to pop like yours does. Nice work, Roger! Link to comment
w. roger keagle 0 Posted June 26, 2006 This shot seems so simple, but perhaps I am still thinking with a film mind, and don't know it would be so hard...adjusted exposure manualy until I got what I wanted...though a bit on the dark side for the leaf...then worked up the exposure in PS to fine tune...again, glad you like the result !
