Lot of new photos posted by PTs and many ideas are being taken fast :-) A predictable theme, but done alright, PT. To me, the inclusion of the sign is good, (I think some PTs might find it otherwise). It emphasises movement more, and sort of acts as a lead-in, and gives that extra something. If you wanted to do something more aesthetically, I would suggest some rugged terrain or long roads(like a western scene), or a curvy road or something like that, if you have access to any of those.

The sign works well for me, especially with the arrows diving into the photo, pointing towards infinity. i wonder if you used any filters, or if you were jsut driving very fast. Maybe you could work on this even more using some ND filters to increase the shutter speed and the streaking of the road. At the moment the sign is the only thing significantly blurred.

This PT would like to have had access to a nicer road! I like the idea of a desertic curved road. Maybe one day. As stated in the details, this one is taken at 1/20 sec @ f8. Not that slow, but the motion blur is caused by the fact that I was going at more than 70 mph.

Regarding the sign, it is exactly what I wanted. Just this really suggest a 'slow shutter' and the rest is relatively sharp since it is more far in the frame.

I like the exposure, the sense of motion and the overhead arrows; wonderful light - the right time to take a photograph. There's lots of room in the image, both directions. Well executed, PT - especially given the shooting conditions.

PT! I am concerned for your safety! and mine! (I think that's me in the right hand lane) Great line placement (and light pole) for a shot I am guessing wasnt necessarily composed thru the viewfinder. I believe this may be my favorite of the lot so far.

The top sigh being nearly the only thing blurred in this photo, along with the rail on the lower left portion of the frame, works well for me. I agree that you had nice light. You could also have stopped and take some photo where the cars would be blurred because of their speed. I think it would be nice with the light you have here. BTW, PT, about that sign, are all those sign where you live 'blank' as this one? Where I live, there is usually something written on those sign along with these arrows.

The overhead sign, just as it is with arrows pointing into the frame, is excellent. Along with the road markings we are sent on a high speed journey down this road. Good use of the selective motion blur to blur the things that are near more than the distant. I wonder how many shots were taken to get this good one?

Great light, as mentioned by everyone. All in all PT has put skill in getting this from a fairly mundane subject.

I can't think of any improvements, except perhaps if that snazzy red car was much closer ...

Hope PT wears a seat belt!

pS was the camera mounted on a special tripod on your dashboard?

Knicky, don't be concerned with your safety, I've became a master at driving with my knees while using both hands to take my photo! So Dominique, no, no support here. I agree, kind of dangerous, but I did it just around 10 times, and the whole road was straight as you see here.

Regarding the sign, the writing is above the arrows, but a little portion was still apparent and I had to remove it.
