mandydraper 0 Posted July 11, 2006 I haven't done much critiqueing yet, but I couldn't pass this one up. I really felt something when I saw this - deep feelings of saddness, hope, and purity. The colors are fantastic - not too bright as to detract from what the child and baby are communicating. I love it! I love that they are looking at each other, it draws me in to their little world. The bottom left hand corner is the only bit that bothers me. I agree that the lightest parts of the image should be at their faces, but it just looks muddy. I don't know exactly how you created this effect, but if you used the burning tool in photoshop, I'd suggest using levels instead and just making it darker that way. It might look a little more natural. Like I said, though, very powerful! Thanks for sharing! If I can take photos outside like this one day, I'll feel like I've made it! Mandy Link to comment
